How about a 5 hr boat trip delivering mail to residents on the eastern side of the Island?

or the choice of the mail run by land (approx 4 hrs)

The island is ideal for mountain biking with lots of fast downhills and rewarding views

and the beach suitable for water sports and safe for children (with adult supervision)

we have a 12 foot aluminum dingy with outboard motor for hire - life jackets included (and petrol!)

We can put you in contact with a local guide to arrange history tours, scenic tours and other tours you may like to do during your stay

... and at the end of a hard day, of course you have the chance to unwind at d'Urville Island's Wilderness Cafe Restaurant and Bar!
